What you are buying

  • Originals are one of one. Their price is given on request, and each comes with a serial number and a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
  • Gallery Editions are large, signed canvas reproductions on premium semi-gloss canvas, stretched and ready to hang, in runs limited to 250. Each copy is signed and serial-numbered on the back and comes with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity. Some editions are hand-embellished by RAISA, so no two copies are alike.
  • Prints are printed on high-quality semi-gloss, heavy 80 lb paper and come with a backing board in a clear slip bag. They are not signed and do not carry a serial number or certificate.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars. A Gallery Edition's price rises as its run sells; the page always shows the current price and how many copies remain at it, and you pay the price shown when you check out.

Shipping, insurance and taxes

  • Works ship by FedEx in 7 to 10 business days. Shipping is charged by destination and size and shown before you pay.
  • Shipping insurance is optional and costs 1.5% of the art price.
  • Pennsylvania sales tax of 7% is added to orders shipping to Pennsylvania.
  • For orders outside the United States, customs duties, import taxes and any other fees are paid by the buyer.

All sales are final

Because each work is made or packed to order, all sales are final and works cannot be returned. If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph it and the packaging and write to art@byraisa.com right away.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Square. Your card details go directly to Square and never reach our website. See our Privacy Policy.

Artist's rights

All intellectual property rights are reserved by RAISA. Buying a work, edition or print gives you ownership of that physical object, not the right to reproduce the image.

Commissions

Every commission is made under a signed Commission Agreement with RAISA. These are its main terms; the agreement itself governs.

  • Three equal payments. One third when the agreement is made, as a non-refundable deposit that holds your place in line. One third when you approve the draft and color palette, non-refundable once approved and paid. The final third on completion, before delivery.
  • Ways to pay: Zelle, Venmo, cash, or a Square invoice by credit card (plus a 3% card fee).
  • Approval. You review a sketch or concept before the final painting begins. Changes are requested within 48 hours; each day after that adds a day to the delivery date.
  • Delivery. Once paid in full, your painting is shipped and delivered within 14 business days, or on a day we agree on.
  • Cancellation. If you cancel, payments already made are kept by the artist.
  • Ownership. You own the one physical painting once all payments are made. RAISA keeps the copyright and all reproduction rights; the work may not be reproduced, distributed or adapted without her written consent.
  • Who is bound. The person named in the agreement confirms they are who they say they are, and is bound by its terms from the first payment.
  • Law. Commission agreements are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
